????????, 'powerful one.' Jehovah is the only Potentate. 1Ti 6:15. The word occurs also in Lu 1:52: Jehovah "hath put down 'the mighty' from their thrones." And in Ac 8:27, the eunuch was a man 'of great authority': they at times had more power than the kings.
He has toppled the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly.
So he got up and went. There was an Ethiopian man, a eunuch and high official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of her entire treasury. He had come to worship in Jerusalem
