In 1Ki 17:22; 2Ki 13:21; Ne 4:2; '/Romans/14/9/type/isv'>Ro 14:9, 'to revive' is literally 'to come to life again,' as in Shaks. 1 Henry VI. i. i. 18
The LORD listened to Elijah, and the soul of the little boy returned to him, and he revived.
He addressed his allies and the Samaritan officials, saying "What are these pathetic Jews doing? Are they intending to rebuild it by themselves? Do they intend to offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a single day? Can they make stones from this burned out rubble?"
At one time I was alive without any connection to the Law. But when the rule was revealed, sin sprang to life,
For this reason the Messiah died and returned to life, so that he might become the Lord of both the dead and the living.
