Wilderness and dry land shall be glad, and desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus.
It shall blossom abundantly, and it shall rejoice indeed with rejoicing and exulting. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. {They are the ones who} shall see the glory of Yahweh, the majesty of our God.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose [again], thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him.
For "all flesh [is] like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the grass. The grass withers and the flower falls off,
and the blossoms, the lamps, and the tongs that [were] of solid gold;
