and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon who had been a leper,

As they were going along, they met a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: and compelled him to carry the cross.

At length he went up a mountain, and having appointed a select company to attend him, they came to him.

now being at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, while he was at table, there came a woman with a viol full of the perfume of spikenard, which was very costly; and she opened the viol, and poured it upon his head.

one Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he pass'd by in his return out of the country, was compell'd to carry the cross.

there a supper was provided for him; Martha was in waiting: but Lazarus was one of the guests that sat at table with him.

while they were at supper, (the devil having now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him) Jesus,

Jesus answered, he it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have made it. and when he had made the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

When they were arrived there, they went up into an upper room, where Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, Simon the Zelot, and Judas the brother of James used to resort,

so that Peter staid there a considerable time with one Simon a tanner.
