Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,

And Azariah will beget Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,

Moraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

And Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God.

And Zadok son of Ahitub, and Abimelech son of Abiathar, the priests; and Shavsha the scribe.
