And Isaiah cries concerning Israel, "If the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that shall be saved;"

And, as Isaiah has said before: "Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we would have become as Sodom, and been made like to Gomorrah."

But they did not all obey the glad tidings. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who believed our report?"

But Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who sought Me not; I became manifest to those who sought not after Me."

And again Isaiah says, "There shall be the Root of Jesse, and He Who riseth up to rule over the gentiles, on Him will the gentiles hope."
