"So don't ever worry by saying, "What are we going to eat?' or "What are we going to drink?' or "What are we going to wear?'

so do whatever they tell you and follow it, but stop doing what they do, because they don't do what they say.

Do you have eyes, but fail to see? Do you have ears, but fail to hear? Don't you remember?

Then they told him, "John's disciples frequently fast and pray, and so do those of the Pharisees. But your disciples keep right on eating and drinking."

You say, don't you, "In four more months the harvest will begin?' Look, I tell you, open your eyes and observe that the fields are ready for harvesting now!

I'm leaving you at peace. I'm giving you my own peace. I'm not giving it to you as the world gives. So don't let your hearts be troubled, and don't be afraid.

So do what we tell you. We have four men who are under a vow.

Or can we say as some people slander us by claiming that we say "Let's do evil that good may result"? They deserve to be condemned!

Look at the plain facts! If anyone is confident that he belongs to the Messiah, he should remind himself of this: Just as he belongs to the Messiah, so do we.

So do not be partners with them.

So don't lose your confidence, since it holds a great reward for you.

So do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
