But the children of Judah in their kindred were: Shelah of whom cometh the kindred of the Shelanites; and of Perez cometh the kindred of the Perezites; and of Zerah cometh the kindred of the Zerahites.

And the children of Perez were Hezron, of whom cometh the kindred of the Hezronites: and of Hamul cometh the kindred of the Hamulites.

and that thine house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, even of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman."

This is the generation of Perez: Perez begat Hezron,

And Tamar his daughter-in-law bare him Perez and Zerah: so that all the sons of Judah were five.

The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

The sons of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur and Shobal.

Uthai the son of Ammihud the son of Omri the son of Imri of the son of Bani of the children of Perez, the son of Judah.
