that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic, and suffereth grievously; for often he falleth into the fire and often into the water.

Last of all he sent to them his Son, saying, They will reverence my Son.
