And from Naphtali a thousand chiefs, and with them with shield and spear, thirty and seven thousand. And from the Danites setting the battle in array, twenty and eight thousand and six hundred. And from Asher those going forth to the army to set the battle in array, forty thousand. And from beyond Jordan, from the Reubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, with all utensils of the army of the war, a hundred and twenty thousand. All these men of war setting in order the arrangement with the whole heart, came to Hebron to make David king over all Israel: and also all the rest of Israel of one heart to make David king.
