My little children, I'm writing these things to you so that you might not sin. Yet if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father Jesus, the Messiah, one who is righteous. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God: The one who says that he abides in him must live the same way he himself lived.

So Jesus told them, "Truly, I tell all of you emphatically, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don't have life in yourselves. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I'll raise him to life on the last day, because my flesh is real food, and my blood is real drink. read more.

Philip told him, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will satisfy us." "Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me?" Jesus asked him. "The person who has seen me has seen the Father. So how can you say, "Show us the Father'? You believe, don't you, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I don't speak on my own. It is the Father who dwells in me and who carries out his work. read more.
Believe me, I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe me because of what I've been doing. Truly, I tell all of you emphatically, the one who believes in me will also do what I'm doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I'm going to the Father. I'll do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it." "If you love me, keep my commandments. I will ask the Father to give you another Helper, to be with you always. He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor recognizes him. But you recognize him, because he lives with you and will be in you. I'm not going to forsake you like orphans. I will come back to you. "In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also. At that time, you'll know that I am in my Father, that you are in me, and that I am in you.

Brothers, think about your own calling. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. And God chose what is insignificant in the world, what is despised, what is nothing, in order to destroy what is something, read more.
