And Philip having opened his mouth, and having begun from this Scripture, he preached the good-news to him--the man Jesus.

For Ezra had set his heart to seek the law of LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and ordinances.

As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us (and he passed on), but stand thou still first, that I may cause thee to hear the word of God.

So one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear LORD.

And having appointed a day for him, more came to him into his lodging, to whom he expounded, solemnly testifying the kingdom of God, and persuading them of the things about Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the prophets, from m
