The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me. The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.

This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Upper Beth Horon.

Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the ruler of the house, and Elkanah who was next to the king.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.

The house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel; and the LORD was with them.

The men of Ephraim were gathered together, and passed northward; and they said to Jephthah, "Why did you pass over to fight against the children of Ammon, and did not call us to go with you? We will burn your house on you with fire."

The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won't envy Judah, and Judah won't persecute Ephraim.

All Judah rejoiced at the oath; for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest all around. Also Maacah, the mother of Asa the king, he removed from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and made dust of it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God: for he took away the foreign altars, and the high places, and broke down the pillars, and cut down the Asherim, and commanded Judah to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment. read more.
