This is now the second letter that I have written to you, beloved, and in both of them I have aroused your sincere mind by way of reminder; that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken through your apostles. But by the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
