Later, the king of the Ammonites died, and Hanun his son reigned in his stead. David said, I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, as his father did to me. So David sent his servants to console him for his father's death; and they came into the land of the Ammonites,
After this, Nahash king of the Ammonites died, and his son reigned in his stead. David said, I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me.
