Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly, and not after the teaching which he received from us.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
And with many other words he earnestly testified and exhorted, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.
Turn! Turn! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean. Go out of her midst; purify yourself, bearers of the vessels of Jehovah.
Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you have passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all those who live in the land from before you, and destroy all their carved images, and destroy all their molded images and pluck down all their high places. Wherever the lot falls out to him; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit. They have corrupted themselves: they are not His sons; it is their blemish; they are a crooked and perverse generation.
And answering, Jesus said, O unbelieving generation, one having been perverted, how long shall I be with you and endure you? Bring your son here.
Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and live there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so it also shall be to this evil generation.
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their own filth.
But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said to them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
But He answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. And there shall be no sign given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
