However, no devoted thing that a man shall devote to Jehovah of all that he has, either of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed. Every devoted thing is most holy to Jehovah.

When you come into the standing grain of your neighbor, then you may pluck the heads with your hand, but you shall not move a sickle into your neighbor's standing grain.

If an ox gores a man or woman so that they die, then the ox shall surely be stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten. But the owner of the ox shall be set free. But if the ox was apt to gore in time past, and his owner has been told, and he has not kept him in, but that he has killed a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death. For every case of trespass, for ox, for ass, for sheep, for clothing, for any kind of lost thing, which another claims to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges. Whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double to his neighbor.

Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he has no son? Therefore give us a possession among the brothers of our father. And the chief fathers of the families of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses, and before the rulers, the chief fathers of the sons of Israel. And they said, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel. And my lord was commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters. And if they are married to any of the sons of the tribes of the sons of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe to which they are received. And when the jubilee of the sons of Israel shall come, then their inheritance shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe into which they are received. So their inheritance shall be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers. And Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of Jehovah saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph has said well. This is the thing which Jehovah commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best. Only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father. So the inheritance of the sons of Israel shall not be moved from tribe to tribe. For every one of the sons of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. And every daughter that possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the sons of Israel shall become a wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel may each one enjoy the inheritance of his fathers. And the inheritance shall not move from one tribe to another tribe. But every one of the tribes of the sons of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.

And the herdsmen of Gerar strove with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, The water is ours. And he called the name of the well Contention, because they strove with him.

And the priest shall value it, whether it is good or bad. As you the priest value it, so shall it be. But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part of it to what you judged.

However, the first-born of an animal, which should be Jehovah's first-born, no man shall sanctify it, whether an ox, or sheep, it is Jehovah's. And if it is of an unclean animal, then he shall redeem it according to your estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it to it. Nothing devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed, but shall surely be put to death. And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah's. It is holy to Jehovah. And if a man will at all redeem anything of his tithes, he shall add to it the fifth part of it. And all the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, all that passes under the rod, a tenth shall be holy to Jehovah He shall not search whether it is good or bad, neither shall he change it. And if he changes it at all, then both it and the change of it shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.

You may not remove your neighbor's landmark, which those in the past have set in your inheritance, which you shall inherit in the land which Jehovah your God gives you to possess it.

Cursed is he who removes his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

And it happened when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned and was dead, Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth of Jezreel, which he refused to give you for silver. And if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold. He may redeem it within a full year. And if it is not redeemed within the time of a full year, then the house in the walled city shall be made sure forever to its buyer throughout his generations. It shall not go out in the jubilee.

But the houses of the villages which have no walls around them shall be counted as the field of the country. They may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee. As to the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, the Levites shall have a never-ending redemption. And if a man purchases a house from the Levites, then the house that was sold and the city of his possession shall go out in the year of jubilee. For the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the sons of Israel.

And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy to Jehovah, then the priest shall judge it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest shall judge it, so shall it stand. And if he who sanctified it desires to redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the silver of your judgment, and it shall be his.

And if a man shall sanctify to Jehovah some part of a field that he owns, then your judgment shall be according to its seed; a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver. If he sanctifies his field from the year of jubilee, according to your judgment it shall stand. But if he sanctifies his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the silver according to the years that remain, even until the year of jubilee, and it shall be taken from your estimation. read more.
And if he who sanctified the field desires in any way to redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your estimation to it, and it shall be made sure to him. And if he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. But the field, when it goes out in the jubilee, shall be holy to Jehovah, as a field devoted. The possession of it shall be the priest's. And if a man sanctifies to Jehovah a field which he has bought, which is not of the fields he owns, then the priest shall count to him the worth of your estimation, until the year of jubilee. And he shall give your estimation in that day, a holy thing to Jehovah. In the year of the jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, to him who owns it in the land. And all your judgments shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary, twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

If a man delivers to his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies, or is hurt, or driven away, no one seeing, an oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, that he has not put his hand to his neighbor's goods. And the owner of it shall accept it, and he shall not make it good. And if it is stolen from him, he shall fully repay the owner of it. read more.
If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn. And if a man borrows from his neighbor, and it is hurt, or dies, and the owner of it not with it, he shall surely make it good. If the owner of it is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is hired, it came for its hire.

Be not one of those who strike hands, of those who are sureties for debts. If you have nothing to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?

And if a man borrows from his neighbor, and it is hurt, or dies, and the owner of it not with it, he shall surely make it good. If the owner of it is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is hired, it came for its hire.

And Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise and go, you and your household, and live wherever you can live. For Jehovah has called for a famine. And it shall also come on the land seven years. And the woman arose and did according to the word of the man of God. And she went with her household, and lived in the land of the Philistines seven years. And it happened at the end of seven years, the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines.
