and let them lay the pieces with the head and the fat, upon the wood that is on the fire in the altar. But the inwards and the legs they shall wash in water, and the priest shall burn altogether upon the altar, that it be a burnt sacrifice, and an offering of a sweet odour unto the LORD.

and offer every day an ox for a sin offering for to reconcile with all. And thou shalt hallow the altar when thou reconcilest it, and shalt anoint it to sanctify it. Seven days thou shalt reconcile the altar and sanctify it, that it may be an altar most holy: so that no man may touch it but they that be consecrate.

Therefore when thou offerest thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; leave there thine offering before the altar, and go thy way first, and be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
