Jehovah, we acknowledge our wickedness, the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against thee.

And Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to Jehovah, and said, Ah, Jehovah, remember, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept much.




And he said to Jesus, Remember me, Lord, when thou comest in thy kingdom.


And the tax-gatherer, standing afar off, would not lift up even his eyes to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, O God, have compassion on me, the sinner.
