Thus also ye, outwardly ye appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Should Abner die as a fool dieth? Thy hands were not bound, Nor thy feet put into fetters; As a man falleth before wicked men, Fellest thou! And all the people wept again over him.

And Abraham rose up, and bowed down to the people of the land, to the sons of Heth, and spoke to them, saying, If it be your will that I should bury my dead from before me, hear me, and entreat for me Ephron the son of Zohar, that he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which is his, which is at the end of his field; for the full money let him give it to me amongst you for a possession of a sepulchre. read more.
