and incessant conflict between people who are depraved in mind and deprived of truth. They think that godliness is a way to make a profit.
As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became afraid and said, "For the present you may go. When I get a chance, I will send for you again."
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is only fooling himself.

So if we are God's children, we shouldn't think that the divine being is like gold, silver, or stone, or is an image carved by humans using their own imagination and skill.

Then I'll say to myself, "You've stored up plenty of good things for many years. Take it easy, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself."'
