Now the last day, that the great day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried in a loud voice.
But at three o'clock Jesus cried out in loud voice, "Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani?" (That is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?")
"But some fell on good soil, and grew up, and brought forth fruit, a hundredfold." When he said this, he called out, "Whoever has ears to hear with, let him listen."
So Jesus cried aloud as he was teaching in the Temple, and said: "You both know me and you know where I am from; and I am not come on my own authority, but he who sent me is trustworthy, and him you do not know.
Now Jesus, speaking in a loud voice, had said:
And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.
