And Darius the Mede took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old. It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty satraps, who should be over the whole kingdom;
Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

This sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the decision by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets up over it the lowliest of men.

This shall they have because of their pride, because they have reproached and boasted themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
