And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.
And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.
You have neither part nor lot in this matter: for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own plans, and we will everyone do the imagination of his evil heart.
And the LORD said unto Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, whom I have put in your hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart treasure up unto yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, says he to you; but his heart is not with you.
If you say, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that weighs the heart consider it? and he that keeps your soul, does not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. He that hates disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; When he speaks graciously, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
But your eyes and your heart are for nothing but for your covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
They that are of a perverse heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: he that has a haughty look and a proud heart will I not endure.
Everyone that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though they join hand in hand, none shall be unpunished.
He that has a crooked heart finds no good: and he that has a perverse tongue falls into calamity.
Therefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
I the LORD search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, you shall not covet.
And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
But he that received the seed in stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it; Yet has he not root in himself, but endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he is offended.
And these are they likewise who are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
Those on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for awhile believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.read more.
For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth plants fit for them by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God: But that which bears thorns and briars is worthless, and is near unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
