Thematic Bible: Declaration

Thematic Bible

But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

Oh give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples. Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.

Give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.

In that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the LORD, for he has done excellent things. Let this be known in all the earth. Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in the midst of you."

God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain. My speech shall condense as the dew, as the small rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb. For I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Ascribe greatness to our God. read more.
The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Let them praise the LORD for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men. Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.

'The LORD has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.'

But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone. For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers, read more.

I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the assembly, I will praise you. You who fear the LORD, praise him. All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him. Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel.

Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. read more.
I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed. I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word. Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you, for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came forth from you, and they have believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are. While I was with them, I kept them in your name which you have given me; I have kept. None of them is lost, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them."

I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I did not say to the seed of Jacob, 'Seek me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right.

(for they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; the LORD of hosts is his name): I have declared the former things from of old; yes, they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them: suddenly I did them, and they happened.

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire will the LORD execute judgment, and by his sword, on all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many. "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating pig's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together," says the LORD. read more.
"For I know their works and their thoughts: the time comes, that I will gather all nations and languages; and they shall come, and shall see my glory. "I will set a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the islands afar off, who have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.

All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They do not hide it. Woe to their soul. For they have brought disaster upon themselves.
