And Yahweh spoke to you from the midst of the fire; {you heard} a sound of words, but {you did not see} a form--only a voice.
"So {you must be very careful for yourselves}, because you did not see any form on the day Yahweh spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire,
But he said, "You are not able to see my face, because human will not see me and live."
And I will remove my hand, and you will see my back, but my face will not be visible."
{How much less} [when] you say [that] you do not see him, that [the] case [is] {before him}, and you are waiting for him!
No one has seen God at any time; the one and only, God, the one who is in the bosom of the Father--that one has made [him] known.
