"Now from the fig tree learn the parable; When already its branch becomes tender, and the leaves are putting forth, ye know that the summer is near; even so ye, when ye see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors. Verily I say to you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things come to pass.

"Now from the fig tree learn the parable: when its branch already becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is near; so also do ye, when ye see these things coming to pass, know that He is near, at the doors. Verily I say to you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things be accomplished.

And He said to the multitudes also, "When ye see a cloud rising in the west, straightway ye say 'A shower is coming!' and so it happens. And, when ye see a south wind blowing, ye say, 'There will be scorching heat!' and it comes to pass. Hypocrites! Ye know how to interpret the face of the earth and of the heavens but how is it ye know not how to interpret this time?

And He spake a parable to them: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees; when they now shoot forth, beholding it, ye know of yourselves that already the summer is near. So also ye, when ye see these things coming to pass, know that the Kingdom of God is near. read more.
