And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.





And for the entrance of the inner sanctuary he made doors of olive wood: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall. And the two doors were of fir wood: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding. And he carved thereon cherubim and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.


And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.


And you shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and upon your gates:


As the door turns upon its hinges, so does the slothful upon his bed.
