But his disciples began to question him - What might, this very, parable be? And, he, said - Unto you, hath it been given, to get to know the sacred secrets of the kingdom of God; but, unto the rest, in parables, - in order that, seeing, they may not see, and, hearing, they may not understand.
Next, he poureth water into the wash-basin, and began to be washing the feet of the disciples, and to be wiping them with the linen cloth wherewith he was girded. So he cometh unto Simon Peter.
