Animals » Suffer under divine judgments, sent upon man
Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: “Look, My anger—My burning wrath—is about to be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the tree of the field, and on the produce of the land. My wrath will burn and not be quenched.”

I call to You, Lord, for fire has consumed the pastures of the wilderness, and flames have devoured all the trees of the countryside. Even the wild animals cry out to You, for the river beds are dried up, and fire has consumed the pastures of the wilderness.
