LORD is righteous in all his ways, and gracious in all his works.

O LORD, the God of Israel, thou are righteous, for we are left a remnant that is escaped, as it is this day. Behold, we are before thee in our guiltiness, for none can stand before thee because of this.

As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise to the ends of the earth. Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

By awesome things thou will answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, thou who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of those who are afar off upon the sea,

Thou are righteous, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

Would thou not be angry with us till thou had consumed us, so that there should be no remnant, nor any to escape? Surely after that I was turned back. I repented, and after I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh. I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.
