And all his acquaintance, and the women that had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance looking on these things.
And the women that had come with him from Galilee followed after and saw the sepulcher, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointment; and they rested on the sabbath, according to the commandment.

And while they feared and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them: Why seek you among the dead for him that lives? He is not here, but he has risen; remember that he spoke to you while he was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words, and returned from the sepulcher, and told all these things to the eleven and to the rest. It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James, and the others with them, that told these things to the apostles.

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulcher that had been hewed out of a rock: and he rolled a stone to the door of the sepulcher. And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
