And the Israelites did not remember the Lord their God, who had rescued them from the hand of all their enemies on every side;


The wicked will turn to Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead),
Even all the nations who forget God.

Who stretched out the heavens
And laid the foundations of the earth,
That you continually tremble with fear all day long because of the rage of the oppressor,
As he takes aim to destroy?
