Declare you in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry, Gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities. Set up the standard toward Zion: take refuge, delay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

The burden concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence.

Bow down your ear to me; deliver me speedily: be my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me. For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the rock of your strength, therefore shall you plant pleasant plants, and shall set it with imported seedlings:

For you have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, for the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in him.
