The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.

Then they journeyed from Bethel. And {when they were still some distance} from Ephrath, Rachel went into labor. And she had hard labor. And {when her labor was the most difficult} the midwife said to her, "Do not be afraid {for you have another son}." And it happened [that] when her life was departing (for she was dying), she called his name Ben-Oni. But his father called him Benjamin.

A woman, when she gives birth, experiences pain because her hour has come. But when [her] child is born, she no longer remembers the affliction, on account of the joy that a human being has been born into the world.
