And this expression, "Yet once more," signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, in order that those things which are not shaken may abide.
God having provided for us some better thing, that they might not be made perfect without us.

Women received back their dead by a resurrection; but others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection; and others had trial of mockings and scourgings, and also of bonds and imprisonment; they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword; they went about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented, of whom the world was not worthy; they wandered in deserts and mountains, and caves and the clefts of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promised blessing, God having provided for us some better thing, that they might not be made perfect without us.
