For the Law but shadowing forth the good things to come, and not having the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually make those who come with them perfect. For in that case would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins? He setteth aside the first, that he may establish the second. And in this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
