Then the chief priests and the Pharisees convened a council, and said, What do we? for this man performeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans will come, and take away both our place and nation. Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all. And charged them that they should not make him known:
