The wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even to Gath, and to Ekron.

Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come, and let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be that the LORD will work for us; for there is no restraint on the LORD to save by many or by few." His armor bearer said to him, ?Do all that your heart inclines toward. Behold, I am with you, my heart is as your heart."

When he had said this, and had taken bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of all, and he broke it, and began to eat. Then they all cheered up, and they also took food.

For consider him who has endured such hostility from sinners against himself, so that you do not grow weary in your souls and lose heart.
