They return at evening, they howl like a dog,
And go around the city.

Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,
That hovers over its young,
He spread His wings and caught them,
He carried them on His pinions.

Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth
And makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?’

Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise, Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler, Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest.

The ants are not a strong people, But they prepare their food in the summer; The shephanim are not mighty people, Yet they make their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, Yet all of them go out in ranks; read more.
The lizard you may grasp with the hands, Yet it is in kings' palaces.

“Even the stork in the sky
Knows her seasons;
And the turtledove and the swift and the thrush
Observe the time of their migration;
But My people do not know
The ordinance of the Lord.



Indeed, it is useless to spread the baited net
In the sight of any bird;


The locusts have no king,
