Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and lean on horses and trust in chariots, because it is great; and in horsemen, because they are so very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor do they seek Jehovah! The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be remembered no more; and injustice shall be broken like a tree. He ill-treats the women who bear no children; and does no good to the widow. He also draws the mighty with his power; he rises up, and no one is sure of life. He gives safety to him, and he rests on it; yet His eyes are on their ways. And the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying, Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see and see not. They have ears to hear and hear not, for they are a rebellious house.
