And this is the tidings which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and yet walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

All the words of God are pure and clean, for he is a shield unto all them that put their trust in him. Put thou nothing therefore unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found as a liar.

Even because ye cannot abide the hearing of my words. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father, ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning; And abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, then speaketh he of his own. For he is a liar, and the father thereof.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye should sin not: if, though, any man sin, yet we have an Advocate with the father, even Jesus Christ, which is righteous. And he it is that obtaineth grace for our sins; and not for our sins only, but also for the sins of all the world. And hereby we are sure that we know him: if we keep his commandments. read more.
