Ammonites » Prophecies concerning
They will swoop down on the slopes of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the sons of the east. They will possess Edom and Moab, and the sons of Ammon will be subject to them.
The days are coming, proclaims Jehovah, when I will punish all who are circumcised [only in the flesh]. Yet they are not circumcised [in the heart]. I will punish Egypt, Judah, Edom, Ammon, and Moab. This is what Jehovah the God of Israel said to me: 'Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my fury, and make all the nations to whom I am sending you drink from it. They will cause you to be taken far from your lands. I will scatter you, and you will die. If a nation surrender to the king of Babylon and serve him I will let it stay in its own land. People will farm the land and live on it, says Jehovah.'

Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made his army labor hard against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder was rubbed bare. But he and his army had no wages from Tyre for the labor that he had performed against it. The Lord Jehovah says: 'I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He will carry off her wealth and capture her spoil and seize her plunder. It will serve as wages for his army.
