But Jesus spoke of his death; but they thought that he spoke of the rest of sleep. Then Jesus, therefore, said to them plainly, Lazarus has died; and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe; but let us go to him. Then Thomas, who is called The twin, said to the fellow disciples, Let us go also, that we may die with him.
