Hitherto you have not asked for anything as my followers, but now ask, and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete. "I have said all this to you in figurative language, but a time is coming when I shall not do so any longer, but will tell you plainly about the Father. When that time comes you will ask as my followers, and I do not promise to intercede with the Father for you, for the Father loves you himself because you love me and believe that I have come from the Father.
