We are afflicted on every side, yet not reduced to extremities; under difficulties, yet not in despair; persecuted, yet not abandoned; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the death pangs of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
Therefore we never faint; for though our outward man decay, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction worketh for us a transcendently far more exceeding eternal weight of glory; whilst we direct our aim not to the things which are seen, but to the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal.
