Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas,
But while He yet talked with the people, behold, His mother and His brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with Him.
Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him.
After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And they did not stay there many days.
Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.
For His brothers did not believe in Him.
Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?
But I saw no other of the apostles, except James the Lord's brother.

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. And the mother of Jesus was there. And Jesus and His disciples were both invited to the marriage. And when they lacked wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine. read more.
Jesus said to her, Woman, what do I have to do with you? My hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it. And there were six stone waterpots there, according to the purification of the Jews, each containing two or three measures. Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, Now draw out and carry it to the master of the feast. And they carried it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water which was made wine (and did not know where it was from, but the servants who drew the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, Every man at the beginning sets forth good wine, and when men have drunk well, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. And it revealed His glory. And His disciples believed on Him. After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And they did not stay there many days.
