But while He yet talked with the people, behold, His mother and His brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with Him.
Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him.
After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And they did not stay there many days.
Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.
For His brothers did not believe in Him.
Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?
But I saw no other of the apostles, except James the Lord's brother.

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
but took leave of them, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that is coming in Jerusalem, but I will return again to you, God willing. And he sailed from Ephesus.
Jerusalem is built like a city that is all joined together as one; where the tribes go up, the tribes of Jehovah, to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of Jehovah. For there were set the thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
After these things Jesus walked in Galilee, for He did not desire to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. And the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near. For no one does anything in secret, while he himself seeks to be in public. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world. For His brothers did not believe in Him. Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its works are evil. You go up to this feast; I am not yet going up to this feast; for My time is not yet fulfilled. And having said these things to them, He remained in Galilee. But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as in secret. Then the Jews sought Him at the feast and said, Where is He? And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd. However, no one spoke openly of Him, because of the fear of the Jews. Now about the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

And it happened in the fulfilling of the days of His taking up, He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem. And He sent messengers before His face. But He turned and rebuked them and said, You do not know of what spirit you are. For the Son of Man has not come to destroy men's lives, but to save. And they went to another village. And it happened as they were going in the way, one said to Him, Lord, I will follow You wherever You go. And Jesus said to him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head. And He said to another, Follow Me! But he said, Lord, first allow me to go and bury my father. Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow You, but first allow me to take leave of those in my house. And Jesus said to him, No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
