Then he says to Thomas, Bring thy finger here and see my hands; and bring thy hand and put it into my side; and be not unbelieving, but believing. Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God. Jesus says to him, Because thou hast seen me thou hast believed: blessed they who have not seen and have believed.



Who humbleth himself to look on the heavens and on the earth?

Who hath remembered us in our low estate, for his loving-kindness endureth for ever;

For Jehovah is high; but he looketh upon the lowly, and the proud he knoweth afar off.

And the Pharisees seeing it, said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax-gatherers and sinners?

For he has looked upon the low estate of his bondmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

And having said this, he shewed to them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced therefore, having seen the Lord.

After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he manifested himself thus. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael who was of Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.
