In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He it is of whom I said, A man comes after me who takes a place before me, because he was before me;
Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Jesus therefore said to them, When ye shall have lifted up the Son of man, then ye shall know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father has taught me I speak these things.
I tell you it now before it happens, that when it happens, ye may believe that I am he.
I said therefore to you, that ye shall die in your sins; for unless ye shall believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
But Jesus immediately spoke to them, saying, Take courage; it is I: be not afraid.
For all saw him and were troubled. And immediately he spoke with them, and says to them, Be of good courage: it is I; be not afraid.
behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, for a spirit has not flesh and bones as ye see me having.
But he says to them, It is I: be not afraid.
And Jesus said, I am, and ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.
They answered him, Jesus the Nazaraean. Jesus says to them, I am he. And Judas also, who delivered him up, stood with them.
Jesus answered, I told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go away;
When therefore he said to them, I am he, they went away backward and fell to the ground.
